When you purchase VoiceScribe, we collect:
We use your information solely to:
VoiceScribe processes audio locally on your device. No audio recordings or transcriptions are sent to our servers. All speech recognition is performed entirely offline using local AI models.
The VoiceScribe browser extension (Chrome / Edge) captures the audio of a call tab (Google Meet, Zoom web client, Microsoft Teams web) only after you start it by clicking the extension or pressing its keyboard shortcut.
If the VoiceScribe app crashes, it can send a crash report (a memory snapshot of the app, its version and your Windows version) to our server โ only after you allow it, or automatically if you turn on "Send crash reports automatically" in the settings. Crash reports are used only to fix bugs. We keep at most the 500 most recent reports; older ones are deleted automatically.
